Security & Enterprise IT safeguards the technology behind Britain’s smart meter network, securing critical infrastructure that connects millions of homes and businesses every day.
Our Security function offers unusual breadth, spanning cyber defence, security architecture, data protection, physical security, business resilience, crisis management and 24/7 monitoring through our Security Operations Centre. From live operations to major national programmes, the team ensures strict regulatory compliance and strengthens the network against evolving threats.
We’re proud to hold CREST’s SOC accreditation, placing us among fewer than 50 Managed Security Service Providers worldwide, and one of fewer than ten internal teams to achieve this standard.
Enterprise IT delivers the platforms and systems colleagues rely on, from cloud and applications to networks and devices, enabling secure, resilient delivery across the organisation.
